An is a sensitive and intuitive person whose first goal is to help the client feel more connected to their physical healing. Their intuitive nature combined with extensive training in a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions creates a collaborative environment to facilitate positive change.
An’s training includes working with muscle strains, tendonitis, accident and injury recovery, pre/post-natal recovery, scar care, PTSD and nervous system regulation, and a wide variety of systemic autoimmune conditions. An understands how tension or pain in the body can stem not just from physical injury, but also from holding patterns created by stress, emotional trauma, and our bodies’ postural architecture. Regardless of what the client is coming in for, An will tailor the treatment to the client’s specific needs and preferences.
In his free time you’ll find An engrossed in the garden growing food, as well as using their carpentry background to build small structures such as saunas or tiny homes with their friends. An is a longtime advocate for social justice and understands the intersectional ways that peoples’ histories of trauma or discrimination impact their health. These issues inform the way they are able to offer nuanced and sensitive therapeutic touch.
