Rachel Phillips (MacDonald) is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who brings years of experience and expertise to her practice. A graduate from the University of Ottawa, she earned her Bachelor in Human Kinetics in 2011 before completing her Massage Therapy diploma with honors in 2016. Rachel is a member in good standing of both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS). Since beginning her career as an RMT in Ontario in 2017, Rachel has treated clients of all ages and stages of life, including children, veterans and prenatal/postnatal clients. She has experience addressing a wide range of conditions, from PTSD and insomnia to various musculoskeletal issues such as epicondylitis and plantar fasciitis. Utilizing techniques like Swedish Massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, she collaborates closely with her clients to create individualized treatment plans that prioritize comfort and efficacy. Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys exploring the coast of Nova Scotia with her husband and two young children. She loves to travel, read and try new foods. Rachel is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment for her clients, aiming to enhance their overall well-being through effective and compassionate care.
